A new software suite has been released for Desoutter tightening systems:

• CVI3 and CONNECT version 2.5.4.2.
• CVIConfig version 2.4.7.1.
• CVIMonitor version 1.9.0.1.
• CVIAnalyzer version 1.4.9.1.
• CVIRecovery version 1.3.2.1.

Please be also advised that version 7.1.2 for the ExB tools is also available.

This version brings the following improvements for both Connect and CVI3:

• Tool data upload Open Protocol Mid revision: revision 3 to 5 of Mid 40 are now supported by both controller type. As a reminder, this particular MID allows for the retrieval of a specific tightening tool connected to a controller.
  Revision 3 allows for the retrieval of Tool Maximum Torque - Gear Ratio - Tool Maximum Speed.
  Revision 4 allows for the retrieval of the Primary Tool Type.
  Revision 5, finally, allows for the retrieval of the Tool Model.

This version brings the following improvements for the Connect:

• Connect now supports up to 8 racks for the Multi.
• Add End-Fitting description display on Q-Shield: the description provided for any end- fitting associated to a Q-Shield's PSET now gets displayed on the Q-Shield's screen for easier operations. This feature requires the use of Q-Shield version 3.6a or above.
  
• Add rehit parameters for QShield: it is now possible to set-up both rehit torque and rehit threshold values to improve the monitoring behaviour. This feature requires the QShield to be loaded with version 3.6a.
• Add vibration threshold for QShield: it is now possible to setup 2 vibration thresholds.
  Upon reaching the lower limit, a single clear vibration is performed.
  Upon reaching the second limit, a continuous vibration is performed until the tightening is complete.
  This feature requires the QShield to be loaded with version 3.6a.
• Add "on minimum value" report conditions for QShield: it is now possible to select the report conditions, either on Target Value, or on Minimum value.
  This feature requires the QShield to be loaded with version 3.6a.
