Introduction
The following article explains how to retrieve results from the CVI Net Web database, alter the view for the data and filter what results are retrieved.

Displaying your Results

In nearly all of the main menus, you'll find the following sub-menus:
- Plant
- Views
- Filters
- Inside of the "Plant" sub-menu, select the factory, line, working area or controller that you would to see the results for.
- On clicking, CVI Net Web will retrieve the results from the database based on your selection.
Altering your View
- By default, inside of the "Views" sub-menu you'll have "No View" selected. As a result, you will see all data columns for the selection made in the "Plant" sub-menu.
- To alter this view so that you have less columns, click "Add New"
- A pop-up will appear like below.
- You can then use the on-screen buttons or drag & drop to define which columns to show and what order they should be shown in.
- After you are satisfied with your column selection, define a name for your view and click "Save and apply".
- The menu will close, your view will be applied and it will be added to a list of available views in your "Views" sub-menu for later use.
Filtering your View
- By default, inside of the "Filters" sub-menu you'll have "No filer" selected. As a result, you will see all results for the selection made in the "Plant" sub-menu.
- To alter this so that you have more filtered results, click "Add New"
- A pop-up will appear like below.
- You can drag & drop the available filters to configure which data is applicable to your requirements.
- After having added a filter, you can change the parameters for it.
- Once you are satisfied with your filter(s) selection, define a name for your overall set of filters and click "Save and apply".
- The menu will close, your view will be applied and it will be added to a list of available views in your "Views" sub-menu for later use.
