2 - CONNECT-D: standalone installation requirements

3 - CONNECT-D: Pivotware shared installation requirements

1 - Generic hardware requirements

The CONNECT-D requires the CPU to support regardless of the installation type (i.e. Standalone or Shared) :

  • Second Level Address Translation: this feature improves Virtual Machine performances.
To check whether your CPU supports this feature:
    - Open a PowerShell command tool.
    - Run the following command:
    Get-CimInstance -ClassName Win32_Processor | Select-Object Name, SecondLevelAddressTranslationExtensions

If your CPU supports the feature, the Second Level Address Translation Extensions field must be set to TRUE.

  • Virtualization: this ensures that your CPU can run a Virtual Machine. To check whether your CPU supports this feature:
    - Open a PowerShell command tool.
    - Run the following command:
    Get-CimInstance -ClassName Win32_Processor | Select-Object Name, VirtualizationFirmwareEnabled

2 - CONNECT-D: standalone installation requirements

Scope: the hardware requirements provided in this section apply when the CONNECT-D is installed as a standalone software.

Be sure to adapt the specifications provided below if you intend to run non Desoutter software on the computer hosting the CONNECT-D.
The requirements below are intended for the exclusive use of the CONNECT-D.
